TMC Mock Parliament 2004

This year's annual TMC Mock Parliament was held at Parliament House on Friday, 9th July.

Once again, special thanks to Mr Joe Scalzi MP, Member for Hartley, and Mr Jack Snelling MP, Member for Playford, for their ongoing support in hosting this event and even acting as our Speakers for the evening.

This year saw another good turnout, the defeat of the 'Government's' DNA Database System Bill 2004, and a very lively debate on a number of topical issues.

The TMC Mock Parliament provides an excellent opportunity for young people to learn more about our parliament, sharpen their speaking and debating skills and have a lot of fun in the process.

No doubt everyone is looking forward to 2005!
