Adelaide University Democratic ClubThe Adelaide University Democratic Club is an affiliate of the Thomas More Centre. While only in its first year of operation, the Club is already leading the fight on campus for Judeo-Christian values. The inaugural James McAuley Memorial Lecture in March, featuring the Hon. Tony Abbott MP, continues even now to draw public comment and has placed the Club in an excellent position to continue its work. More recently, the Club, supported by the Australian Family Association, staged a successful protest against the presence on campus of infamous 'ethicist' Professor Peter Singer. The Club has also made its first foray into student elections with good results. To find out more about the Democratic Club, please visit its website (available online soon) or email Club President Aaron Russell: aaron.russell@student.adelaide.edu.au
